D oremi’s singer, xPeRFeCT breaks the most number of emperiums with his perfect pitch this month!

With December just a month away, Christmas songs are ringing everywhere and choir competitions are just around the corner. Upper Alberta has been producing talented singers and has been singing their way to the top, bagging Top Emperium Breaker and Breaking Guild awards since September 2016. This November, we have their rising star, xPeRFeCT as the November 2016 Top Breaker.

xPeRFeCT is no newbie when it comes to breaking emperiums. “2 second is real!” - This is the catch phrase for him from his guildmaster. When asked what can he say about this, he humbly replied, “Basta tamang build foods at buffs lang hindi impossible un, kahit sino kaya gawin un.”  I beg to differ. There must be something more since he is also the pilot of EDS - last month’s breaker. 

Bahala na si Batman

“Actually biglaan lang to.. dapat di ako mag run.. kaso medyo naging magulo.. kaya ako nalang ulet.. hahahaha,” the breaker explained. “Gusto ko din bigyan ng title tong main ko, medyo matagal na din ako nagtatangka, ngayon lang nag tagumpay hahaha kainis kasi si Barbie Almalbis hahhahha,”  he added. Well I guess "Bahala na si Batman" is a nice quote for his run?

xPeRFeCT proudly described his guild master Keev and guildmates as monsters - halimaw, “Kay keev? Walang kang masasabe jan. Halimaw yan, ahahahaha, gusto nyo mag top? Keev lang! Sa mga members, halimaw lahat!! uhaw sa gera yang mga yan.. push kung push! pati tuloy ako na hhype na papadive ako hahahaha ayun deads! hahahah ngayon palang binabati ko na si Keev at ang Doremi! congrats!! GRANDSLAM!! yeah you hear it here first!”

When asked if he recommends aspiring breakers to join D oremi, this is what he has to say, “If breaker ka at want nyo maka experience na malupet na guild, Welcome lahat sa D oremi, yun nga lang madami ka makakaagaw, pero matututo ka ng galawan, magandang training ground to, balang araw magiging magulang moves ka na dahil sa kanila hahaha." Upper Alberta music agency is open for auditions. This marvelous green blazing crown represents that the certain guild master has a 3 championship records in our Guild of the  Month. "Masaya kasi ako pinaka una haha at so far, wala pa nakaka 2 blue burning helm [bbh] din. So alam ko matagal tagal pa bago magkaroon ulit  ", said  Jun Abella. One reason why we love this kind of war stories is because so often; the guild masters behind guilds were busy in real life that their friends/guildmates back them up until the GOM event, "Nagwowoe, yes everyday pero dahil medyo busy din ako minsan. May times na di ko naayos guild, so pinasuyo ko lang sa mga kaibgan ko. Kaya ayun medyo kung mapapansin nyo, every woe di ganun ka organize lineups, pero palag naman   ".

"Nung gom night mismo, di namin na-fill up yung naka set na lineup and players na lalaro. May mga absent kasi.. kaya may mga slot na last minute lang nafill. Sa woe, ayun di talaga kumpleto lagi lineup. Di masyado nag wowoe talaga lagi lahat. Strategies, siguro yung ano lang naman dyan organize and  balance. Yun lang talaga    ", said Jun Abella on  their obstacles obtaining the crown and title.

Even though Piko-Taro’s Pen Pineapple Apple Pen song is out of the Billboard Top 100 chart, MyRO’s Pen Pineapple Apple Pen (PPAP) still retained their spot as this month’s 3^rd Job MyRO War Master Champions.

This month we have Left Prontera's Illuminiggaz, Malaya's Insurgent, Payon's Godsmack and Yuno's Pen Pineapple Apple Pen battling for the crown. The event kickstarted with Illuminiggaz crushing Insurgent  with a straight 3-0 score. This was followed by PPAP obliterating Godsmack with the same 3-0 score.

Let’s do this!

PPAP originally consisted of the cool and calm Genetic - Nescafe Beans, the fiesty Rune Knight - KingKaelthaz, the cunning Sorcerer - Elfmann, the jolly Minstrel - Norton, the aggressive Shadow Chaser - Shiroe Maoyuu, the powerful warlock - HexeH and the tough Royal Guard - Only Existent. This month they were kinda in a pinch as their sorcerer, Elfmann and their main minstrel, Norton, went MIA. “Nagusap-usap kung papano ang strat kasi wala sila,”  Nescafe Beans explained. Despite this, the team was able to push through with Prof Rozenfate (sorcerer) and with Shitstain piloting their main minstrel.

During the finals, PPAP quickly took the lead in the 1^st 3 rounds before Illuminiggaz made a comeback in round 4. “Hindi naman sa kinabahan, parang mas nagging mas maingat compared sa first 3 rounds,”  KingKaelthaz answered how they felt when their opponent scored a point. “Yung SC kasi namin, nagdive walang pasabi sanay na sanay mag tiis sa sakit,”  Shitstain, who piloted Norton at that time, jokingly added. Compared to the 9 nerve-wracking rounds last month against the ‘Niggaz, they were able to end the whole event by round 6 with a score of 5-1.

So how far will PPAP go? Nescafe Beans said hopefully, “Sana manalo kame sa grandslam namin.” I guess they'll still be there next month.

Last month’s Trans MWM Championship was a bit anticlimactic as Dere Dere won by default against Insurgent due to technical difficulties experienced by the latter. This month, the action is back with 5 rounds of intense battle, and Dere Dere proved that they really deserved the crown as they left no room for their opponent to even get a point, ending the event with a 5-0 score.

Dere Dere consists of different players from different savepoints. This month’s line up we have Aidzzzy (Sniper), Dont Worry Im Okay (Biochemist), Assmerika (HighWizard), High Five Niggah (Paladin), Ryuji Maouyu (Sinx), Saturdate (Clown) and Javier Pena (Lord Knight). Despite the diversity, they were able to put up a good and strong team. When asked if there is a leader of some sort or strategist among them, Saturdate replied humbly, “Basic lang naman ginagawa namin sa trans eh so parang wala naman strat kasi alam naman namin mga role namin kaya parang sync na kami sa isa't isa.”

Basta be prepared parang Boys Scout!

“Always ready naman kami sa mangyayari eh,” the clown hastily answered when asked if there were any preparations made before the start of the match. The team gave it their all and trusted one another to watch their backs. Their aggressiveness is very evident especially during round 1 where they charged right into the heart of the the opponent’s recall point. High Five Niggah’s message to those aiming for Trans MWM Championship crown and to those who will face them, “Galingan pa nila.”

 Circadian Rhythm crossed off Izlude Family from Santa’s list, 3-1

The star of Bethlehem shines bright for Upper Prontera’s Circadian Rhythm as they took home the Guild of the Month title this December 2016.

Although we have a chilly December, the cold never bothered our three guilds – Upper Prontera’s Circadian Rhythm, Izlude’s Izlude Family and Upper Alberta’s D oremi as they battled for coveted Guild of the Month crown. Circadian Rhythm was the first to score 2 points in the race to 2 round robin match which earned their ticket to the finals. This was followed by Izlude family who swept D oremi off their feet in an instant.

Let’s make things cooler, shall we?

During the finals, both guilds started out strong as they clashed head on at the heart of the arena. Circadian Rhythm took the 1^st point as they were able to freeze their enemies, immobilizing them and rendering them helpless. The 2^nd round caught everyone by surprise. Just when you thought the Upper Pronterans got the advantage when they occupied majority of the field, they were finished off by Izlude Family when the latter held their ground like an impenetrable fortress. Of course, this didn’t sway Circadian’s determination to win the crown. In fact, it actually heightened their focus as they were able to swiftly obliterate Izlude Family in the next 2 rounds with minimal casualties, ending the whole event with a 3-1 score.

It was not an easy run for our guild master – The Environmentalist. “May mga ups and downs tong run ko, una sa lahat, availability of the members,”  he explained. “Marami sa kanila ang hindi available during WOE hours, dahil sa work, make-up classes kagaya ko and syempre kasabay ng run ko yung Top Alchemist Reset.” Despite the roadblocks, he stayed positive throughout his run. He even had a dream about finally getting his hands on the BBH the night before GOM! That's how much he wants the title this month - umaabot sa panaginip!

What can he say about his opponent?  The Environmentalist humbly said,"Mabait naman yung nakalaban namin yung mismong GM “Lexanity” of Izlude Family. Nag-pm siya sa akin one day na “Goodluck and Have Fun” nung nag-RGM ako sa moa a week before GOM,”  He then added,"All I can say is yung ibang members nya - stop being confident that you’ll always win the battle with ease. Always remember pag inuna mo ang trashtalk ang resulta madalas TALO. /heh"  Well fellas, let’s just enjoy and focus on our fight so that we’ll have no regrets win or lose, shall we?

Every once in a while, life happens even to the most dedicated of gamers, and the need to go offline will eventually arise. Some games will have a definite pull on our heartstrings, however, and some players will always come back. More often than not, when they do return there will be some adjustment to the current game-play, but once they get their groove back, they will inevitably pick up where they left off.

Such is the case of Barbie Almalbis, who was pretty much a household name in the Emperium Breaking scene, and held the title last June. He unfortunately had to take a break from MyRO, but found that he couldn’t stay away for too long. Soon enough, he came back with a vengeance and reminded everyone once again of the menace that he really is, as he rose from the depths of inactivity and claimed the Top Emperium Breaker for December 2016 -- prompting D oremi as the top Emperium Breaking Guild for three months in a row and nabbing the Grandslam title.

The win was a sweet reward after almost a month’s worth of hard work and dedication, as the Guillotine Cross confessed that he had been eyeing the award since his return last October, wishing to relive his glory days back in June.

“After nung run ko sa [C]arnage nun, [si]nubukan ko ulit mag run k[a]s[a]ma LOAB. [P]ero, wala eh, midgeff [y]ung n[a]kakuha. [S]o tumigil ako mag breaker tapos nag [GM] ako ulit. Hanggang sa nagkayayaan ung LOAB na subukan ipatop [si] Vhan. [T]apos nilipat sya sa [D o]remi. [A]yun, [nag] tuloy tuloy na.”

Despite the fact that he vied for the same title on separate accounts, Barbie recalls fondly that this December title was definitely a better run than before, chalking it up to a more united effort. “Kasi nung n[a]sa Carnage ako, t[a]lgang tinulungan lang ako ni Renzo ( Crunchy ) so ako p[a] rin t[a]lga naghanap ng members. [P]ero nga[yo]n, PAMILYA na. [H]aha.”

Most MyROnians play the game for the rush of a kill, but Barbie begs to differ, and has always been a breaker at heart. “Frustration ko t[a]l[a]ga [‘]tong pagiging breaker ko. Masarap eh, fulfilling. Yung iba, g[u]sto nila m[a]kakita ng mga humihiga pag dumadaan [si]la, ako, g[u]sto ko nakikita ko na ako yung nauuna sa Emp at lumalabas yung pangalan ko sa taas. [Si]nabi ko narin noon na magpapahinga ako, pero eto, tumakbo ulit.”

Also unlike most MyROnians who are active with the competitive scene, Barbie isn’t planning on a grandslam win anytime soon. “G[u]sto ko kc kung magpapa-grandslam ako, k[a]sabay ko yung GM ko. eh yung naging GM ko, Grandslam na ehh. [H]ahah! [Si]guro by next year, kukunin ko yang Grandslam ” Aiming for the GoM award is also in his list of to-do’s, but his being a breaker will always take precedence -- especially since the GoM title will be a lot harder to get. “[‘Y]ang GOM k[asi], me[dy]o mahirap yan. [H]aha. [P]agod, pawis, puyat at maraming kaibigan ang kelangan [‘dy]an. Okay na muna skin [‘]to.”

While he deals with the inconveniences of real life, Barbie mused that he would be laying low on the breaking scene, although not completely. He still plans to join during WoE, but will mostly save his efforts for the next year, after his busyness subsides. For those who plan on taking up the mantle while he’s laid back, he has this to say:

“Para sa mga g[u]sto magpa[-]top breaker, palagi kayong makinig sa GM n[i]yo, disiplina[.] [P]ag [si]nabing wag mag[-]dive, wag d[i-]dive. Sayang kasi yung break. Pangalawa, importante din na gamitin nyo ang hide at cloak skill, kaya nga nilagay sa GX yan para gamitin. [H]aha! Pangatlo, [d]on't work under pressure, [e]njoy lang. Kasi mas pressured mas mahihirapan ka makabasag.”

As for the inevitable throng of haters ("marami tayo n[i]yan, haha", he has a message as well: "Sa mga haters naman, [h]ate lang mga bes. Wala naman kayo mapapala sa paghahate sakin ehh. [H]ahaha!

Congratulations yet again, Barbie Almalbis! We look forward to your return to the Emp-breaking scene, to impress us once again.

Most wanted Cartel de Malaya is on the loose, gives Straw Hats a run for their lives (5-1)!

Malaya, December 2016 – Claims have emerged that a large syndicate is on the rise in Malaya. Local authorities confirmed this to be the underground group – Cartel de Malaya, who has made themselves known in the recent Trans Job MWM Championship against Straw Hats, where they wiped the latter out with a score of 5-1.

A large scale manhunt has been issued for the 8 big shots of this Cartel namely Autumn Clemons (Clown), Shaoskie (Professor), LK na AFK (Lord Knight), Phryme D Switcher (Sniper), For Dolf Only (High Wizard), Monggylloyd (Creator), Scorpion X (Champion) and Lil Collide (Paladin). Police are having a hard time tracking them down, but our reporter and videographer were able to meet and greet some of the ringleaders. Below is her report.

Cartel de Malaya was on full aggressive mode against the Straw Hats in the heated race to 5 match. They left no room for their opponent to even occupy half of the field. This can clearly be seen in the CCTV footage submitted by Jekz. Although the Cartel rushed their opponents, Straw Hats was able to score a point in the 4^th round. “Yung mali naman sa round 4 na pitas kasi yung bragista namin kaya nagkaiscore yung kalaban,” Sniper Phryme D Switcher commented on how that happened. He jokingly added, “D naprotect ni Bagz eh!”

Lil Collide said that they did not come empty handed. “Pinaghandaan talaga namin ung kalaban. Like ung mga items na need namin,” he added. “Practice, Practice. Team communication tsaka tiwala sa kakampi. Laging teamwork yung pinapairal,” Scorpion X shared their key to success.

How did they feel winning this title after being in the dark for quite some time? “Masaya ako! Kasi after 2 years of hiatus, nahawakan ko ulit tong helm,” the Paladin exclaimed. “Masaya syempre, paid off lahat ng pagod at practice namin,” said Scorpion X.

Cartel de Malaya, although not the force they once were, is far from sleeping with the fishes. They revealed that they’ll still be at large and will be defending their title next month.
