Coming from the port town, Alberta; the guild "TheDream" entered our area of responsibility again this July.
It's been raining here in the Philippines for the past few days. According to our Environmental Science, we are now entering the monsoon months. Aside from a high increase in drug lords/pushers killings, we're weathering the storms pretty well.

Payon Plays Comeback to Stun Prontera, 3-2

Payon’s Definitely Not Vince, The Godfather guild master, only had himself to convince that they were definitely not over yet minutes before the supposedly disastrous end of their Guild of the Month run, as a strong Left Prontera-based District 843 infantry laid waste to the battlefield, catapulting an impossible 2-0 lead for the GOM crown. 
“Super duper happy, ’kaw ba naman mag-comeback ng gan’on ka-intense eh lalo na't straight win,” the Payon guild leader admitted. “Aaminin ko no’ng una, sumuko na ko lalo na nung 0-2 na ‘yung score. Pero sabi nga nila wag mawalan ng pag-asa. Lalo na ni Fafa Snoopt na siyang nagpataas ng morale namin. Kaya Bumangon kami at mas lumaban pa.” 
Indeed, it was a complete turnaround of events as The Godfather crew clung for their lives like madmen on a cliff, but remarkably rebounded to steal the victory away from District 843, dismissing the Prontera squad in a nail-biting 3-2 upset to bag the July 2016 Guild of the Month title last Saturday, July 2, at the guild war arena. 
“No’ng unang run ko po ang gusto ko lang po talaga magkaro’n ng VWing. Kaya no’ng natalo ako no’ng una, okay lang kasi nagka-VWing ako,” Definitely Not Vince recalled his previous campaign for the GOM throne, where his team lost to Aldebaran. “Pero this time, inisip ko gusto ko manalo para sa team Payon. Naniniwala po kasi ako sa kasabihang ‘there’s always a second chance,’ hindi lang sa pag-ibig kundi pati sa laro.”
Definitely ikaw na lang daw ulit Vince. 
The July GOM championship kicked off with a semifinal clash between District 843 and Yuno Troops, with the Prontera army cleanly sweeping off their Yuno counterparts, 2-0. Payon’s The Godfather, on the other hand, skipped the semifinal bout and automatically qualified straight to the finals for earning the highest number of economy points in the nightly emperium sieges. In the finals though, Left Prontera showed no restraint and annihilated an anxious Payon troop, attacking from all sides to crush the Godfathers in two solid sets, 2-0, only one point away from clinching the tightly-contested GOM title. 
The Godfather guild, however, charged forward to go all-out with nothing to lose by third round, and gained a leeway to break District 843’s positive streak, sneaking in a point, 1-2. A quietly distressed Prontera team further went downward spiral in the succeeding round, succumbing to their nerves that allowed Payon to force the match into a gridlock, 2-2. With full momentum on their side, The Godfather pushed their luck to the limits in the do-or-die fifth set, eventually subduing a downcast Prontera guild in a very unexpected upset, 3-2.

Upon winning the GOM tournament, Definitely Not Vince more than happily pocketed one “Champion” Expert Ring [0], 10 billion zennies, 30 megaphone and the azure burning helm, tailor-fit only for persevering, bonafide champions. “Susupport po ako sa running namin ngayon gaya ng ginawa nilang support. Give and take ika nga,” The Godfather commander said of his plans after the July GOM series. 
“Ang masasabi ko lang diyan, magtiwala lang po sa’min, sa team. Magtiwala lang sa kapamilya dahil hinding hindi namin siya iiwan,” Definitely Not Vince added.

Find the Mushroom NPC Event
The Find the Mushroom Auto-Event is now spawning at No Limit Morocc PvP, Last man Standing PvP and NPC PVP ROOM all day 24/7!!!
(Updated as of May 25, 2015)
This means, like a regular mob, these Mushrooms now has a regular spawn at these maps all day!!! Five (5) to Ten (10) at a time on each map, each have a respawn rate from 15-30 mins from the last time a mushroom is killed. Regularly visit these PvP Maps for more chances of finding them and owning its bounty!
You just need to find as many Mushrooms named "Don't kill me please!" and whack 'em. Prize/s will be automatically dropped which cannot be autolooted. Current prize per mushroom is set at 100 pcs. Mithril Coins (80% Chance), Bradium (5% Chance) and 1pc. Midgard Coin (20% Chance) used for the Mid Headgear Enchantment NPC! Drops cannot be autolooted.
Type @mobinfo 8084 to check current drop rates.
Mushroom HP is 200. Its race is 'plant' so all damages are 1 and cannot be affected by skills.
These regularly spawn at Morocc PvP, Last Man Standing PvP and NPC PVP ROOM. These are PvP maps, you wouldn't want some guy to get ahead of you in gathering those mushrooms, so better prepare for battle!!! Regularly visit these PvP Maps for more chances of finding them and owning its bounty!

The 2peat PK master came from Yuno / Juno. A shadow chaser and a casual gamer. But if you will watch closely his past matches, you will notice that he can't be [closed] confined. Since he is no normal person.

His journey to gain another spot in our PK list is quite ordinary for people who have blood lust every time s/he open MyRO "About sa rank, Sa tulong ng qtb at everyday tambay sa pvp. Ayun di mo namamalayan kasali na pala sa PK". He even answered simply when asked about his obstructions to attain the PK title, "Para sakin lahat naman ng jobs mahirap kalaban kasi balance sya. May pang counter sa isa tapos pwede ka din ma-counter dpende nalang yan sa player kung paano mo i-cocounter yung move ng kalaban"

Invasion! * Automated Event *
Are you ready to defend Rune-Midgart?
Invasion event takes your hunting skills to a whole new level. This event will test your talents in hunting and your luck in finding. This event is free for all players and by that I mean even a novice can join.
How to join the Invasion Event?
Invasion happens on random times between 12 hours to 60 hours. There will be an announcement that there's been a terrible invasion on a random map. If you want to join, just wait for the announcement in-game that there has been a terrible invasion. This means that you'll have to stay online longer than before to join the event. I promise you that if you stay online longer and you were able to participate in the invasion, you'll definitely want to join the invasion every time and your hours of waiting won't be a waste of time because there are awesome items up for grabs. I was once an invasion addict...but now, I still am.
So take it for me, I promise that you'll have a great time joining the invasion. Be part of the movement to defend Rune-Midgart!

What can we get if we join the Event?
The MVPs of Invasion Event drops Proof of Donation Tickets (PODS), Bloody Branches and Dead Branch Boxes. It's the reason why it'll surely take you to a whole new level of hunting because you're going to compete with a lot of players in killing the MVPs and the twist of this event is that there are other mobs that will appear on the map where the event is held. Those mobs are all aggressive and they come in great numbers. You'll need to search for the MVPs while those mobs are trying to chase you down. The event also spawns random type of MVPs. The player who kills the MVP will win the prize but make sure that you use @autoloot to be able to loot the prizes automatically.
Note : PODS, Bloody Branches and Dead Branch Boxes are only dropped by the MVPs of Invasion Event. Use @autoloot to automatically loot the prizes

There are 3 kinds of MVPs that are seen in Invasion, namely : Sbirro, Hero and Deux.
The announcement that there's a terrible invasion is the signal of the first wave of the event. 3 Sbirros will now start lurking around the map together with their armies. Sbirros drops Bloody Branches and Dead Branch Boxes only.
After killing all the 3 Sbirros, the second wave will now start. This time, there will be 2 Heroes that will be lurking around the map together with another set of armies. You just have to find them again and kill them quickly before other players can. Heroes drop POD, Bloody Branches and Dead Branch Boxes.
After killing the 2 Heroes, the final wave will now start. This time, you'll encounter 1 Deux and it will be roaming around the map together with his new bunch of armies. The Deux drops POD, Bloody Branches and Dead Branch Boxes.
Note : You can use @mi <Monster Name> to check the information about the MVPs.
After Defeating the whole invasion, the experience rates are boosted to x2. From 5,000x to 10,000x for 60 mins. Now that the battalion of monsters is defeated and the experience rates are boosted, this will be a good time for the newbies to go and get a move on and start killing some monster to so that they can reach the maximum level faster than ever. It's not only for them but also for those old players who wants to make new characters and they can also use that time to boost their guild's level.
I suggest that if you're going to join the invasion, use a Sura, Genetic or a Ranger so that you can kill the MVPs faster.
Sura - can kill faster using Asura Strike
Ranger - incredibly fast damage per second
Genetic - Acid Demonstration can be spammed
For me, whenever I join the event, I always use a Sura because few hits of Asura Strike can easily get you the win but still, there are other Suras that you're up against but then again, with the right equips and card combinations, you can maximize your damage.
If you want to use a Ranger, just make sure your attack speed (aspd) is 193 or else you'll have no chance of winning. Also, Rangers are capble of reaching a 20k damage per second and with the right arrow, equips and card combinations you can even reach up to 35k damage per second.
If you want to use a Genetic, just make sure that you can spam your Acid Demonstration.
These 3 jobs are only suggestions but if you want to use other jobs, well that's still fine. I just gave the 3 jobs that I think can kill a MVP quickly.

Hugel Squad Insurgent Burns ‘Greenwood’ to 3-peat, 5-0

Hugel's version of the suicide squad insufferably showed no restraint that was akin to some near-perfect villainy, as Insurgent completely scorched their nemesis Greenwood Lake of Payon, handing the latter a stingy one-sided 5-0 demolition, to solidify their third consecutive victory in the MyRO War Masters championships, last July 30 in the war arena. 
“Play to have fun, win or lose, hindi naman big deal pero kasama na din sa goal,” Insurgent’s genetic, Soujiro Nishikado said of why their team keeps pushing their limits. “Motivation [ko] ‘yung party mates and ‘yung SP na nire-represent namin, kasi first time namin t’o ma-3peat usually… til’ second lang [kami],” Valiant Huntinghawk, warlock, meanwhile shared.

In spite of their exceptional performance in the finals, the Insurgent team did face some setbacks on the way to their third MWM crown. “Connection issues,” Aaroniero Arruruerie, royal guard, provided. “Akala ko hindi talaga ako makakalaro sa MWM Finals kasi nagloloko ang internet connection ko before the said event.”
“Hindi ako ga’no active sa scoring so time, communication and connection,” Hugel’s minstrel Daeindein also added.

Their issues, however, clearly did not stop the Hugel squad from clinching the coveted July MWM title, marching ahead of Payon’s war party, Greenwood Lake, in the first round of the finals, 1-0. The dominant Insurgent party wreaked havoc to the Payon heroes, unrelenting to give up a point to get ahead with an insurmountable 3-0 lead. The Payon crew tried to get into play to hopefully grab a free point in the next sets, but Hugel’s thirst for the helms was just plainly undeniable, sweeping their opponents in a smooth and fast-paced MWM finale, 5-0. 
“Happiness, first time e,” HeilHem Grid, mechanic, commented about their third straight win in the event, earning them the grand slam for their impressive feat. By achieving the grand slam, the Insurgent troop is entitled to own the royal MWM Dragon Helms (Attributes All stats +2, Def +4) for a third consecutive month, and double their normal prize winnings for a total of 100 PODs for the whole team, and 40 pieces of +10 foods and four megaphones for each Insurgent team member.

Top Breaker for the month of August 2016: x Chizz y
Mid Geffen's ' x Chizz y ': the man who breaks emperiums, not hearts.

It's been a while since we played Guild of the Month a little bit longer than usual, but there was this sweet man who keeps on waiting and breaking... emperiums to get this title.

Pick-up lines / hugots are so popular in today's generation. Some of it makes people laugh, sad or even curse you back. Some lines will make people walk away; some may stick around for more. There's no denying that there's power in a corny line and it takes great skill to successfully use it in a normal way, or sarcastically. But either way, everybody loves, a 'cheesy' line. ![/e8]()

This August 2016, Mid Geffen has their own ' x Chizz y ' who owned this month's Top Breaker. Being a breaker for a long period of time is quite rare since people like to explore things like being a warlock, rune knight or even a guild master. He even owned the top breaker title before. ![/e3]()

Wild Card War Event Guidelines
"History is written by winners."
Gear up war freaks for we have added another twist to your war with a twist!
We give you the
Wild Card War Event!
Similar to your War Event with a Twist but this time with 1 random job.
Rules and Mechanics:
- Main Line-up consist of 4 players per job.
- Wild Card Line-up consists of 1 player per job.
- Each team will have 1 random job that is not included in the main line-up.
- Wild cards may be a support, disabler, tank or damage dealer, depending on the main line-up.
- Wild cards will be assigned to their teams according to their dice results. May it be highest to lowest or vice versa, depending on the hosting GM.
Example: Highest to lowest dice Result assignment
Minstrel - 1
Sorcerer - 2
Arch Bishop - 3
Shadow Chaser - 4
> Team 1's Wild Card is a Shadow Chaser
> Team 2's Wild Card is an Arch Bishop
> Team 3's Wild Card is a Sorcerer
> Team 4's Wild Card is a Minstrel

[The Face of MyRO 2016] 1st Task: Confidence
1st Task: Confidence
"I woke up like this."
A real life task.
Let's show them how confidently beautiful you guys are!
🔷 Take a photo of yourself upon waking up from sleep or nap. The picture has to be unedited.
Criteria for the photo:
Just Woke-up Look - 50%
Creativity - 40%
Photo Quality - 10%
🔷 Date must be visible on the picture. (For example, you can either hold a paper or a card with the date written on it. You can browse previous POF tasks for samples.)
🔷 Include a tagalog/english/taglish write-up on "What's the first thing that comes to your mind upon waking up?". It has to be not less than 4 sentences.
Criteria for the write-up:
Creativity - 40%
Content - 40%
Grammar - 20%
🔷 Post your entries here with the following format:

🔷 Those who complete the 1st task will be given 3 points. However, there will be a demerit of 0.5 points for every instruction that is not followed (i.e date, write-up).
🔷 Every candidate starts with 5 points.

• Best submission gains 1 point •
• Players' choice gains 1 point •
• Non submission loses 1 point •
> Best submission is voted by the GM team. There will be two best submission categories for this task: photo and write-up. A submission can win both.
